The Saudi Riyal is the official currency of Saudi Arabia, introduced in 1925. Since 1986 it has been pegged to the US Dollar at a fixed rate of 3.75 SAR per USD. Saudi Arabia has the largest economy in the Arab world, driven primarily by oil exports, which account for roughly 70% of government revenues.
